Accessibility
Last updated: 1 June 2026
Digital accessibility is part of the audits Viromo runs for its clients. It was only natural to hold its own site to the same standard. This page describes our commitment, the level we aim for and how to report a problem to us.
Status. As a business-to-business informational site, viromo.eu does not fall within the scope of the legal accessibility-statement obligation (which applies notably to the public sector and large companies). This is a voluntary commitment.
Our commitment
We build viromo.eu aiming for WCAG 2.1 level AA (the international standard underpinning national rules such as the French RGAA). The goal: a site that is readable, keyboard-navigable and understandable by everyone, including with assistive technology.
Measures applied
- Semantic structure — ranked headings, landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer), properly marked-up lists and tables.
- Declared language — the language attribute is set on every page (French or English).
- Keyboard navigation — all links, fields and buttons are reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Contrast — text and interface colours aim for the recommended contrast ratios.
- Images — meaningful images have a text alternative.
- Form — each field has an explicit label; status messages are announced to screen readers.
- Reduced motion — animations are disabled if you have enabled your system’s “reduce motion” preference.
- No hover dependence — no essential information is available only on mouse hover.
Continuous improvement
Accessibility is ongoing work. Some points may remain perfectible; we fix them as the site is updated. If any content is inaccessible to you, your report helps us improve it.
Report a problem
If you have difficulty accessing any content on viromo.eu, write to us at jacob@viromo.eu or via the contact form, stating the page concerned and the nature of the problem. We strive to respond quickly and to offer an alternative where needed.
